What Is Narcan?
Narcan is a life saving medication that reverses the effects of an opioid related overdose within 20 minutes.
WHO SHOULD BE TRAINED?
Everyone! Opioid addiction effects our community as a whole. This life saving information is for everyone. Parents, Teachers, students, aunts, uncles, restaurant workers, counselors, coaches, police officers, correctional officers, librarians, retail clerks, office staff, etc. No specific training, education, or qualifications are required to receive training. This training aims to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to identify and respond to an opioid overdose.
